ZAGORA
The Star of the Desert
The Oasis of Zagora was the starting point of the Almoravids, who conquered then Sijilmassa (near Rissani) and the Assistant to finally establish their capital in Marrakech. This is also where the Saadian left in the sixteenth century. She was at all times a caravan center, the starting point of the great trans-Saharan convoys.
Like other cities in the South, the modern city was founded by the French at the time of the protectorate. This is a great administrative village, calm and pleasant, the main attraction is to be "the end of the road" and allow a first approach of the desert. It's the end of the Draa Valley. There is little to do in Zagora Similarly, many around.
