The Ourika Valley
The Ourika Valley spreads between the first foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Despite its proximity to Marrakech, this beautiful green valley is certainly one of the best preserved valleys in Morocco. After crossing the fertile plain of Haouz and its many orchards planted with citrus and olive trees, one quickly reaches near the banks of the river Ourika with in the background the towering peaks of the Atlas. At 34 km we reach the Douar of Tnine Ourika. This charming small town is a hub of the region due to its souk every Monday.
Ouarzazate, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou
No meals It is a green road through the scenic beauty of the High Atlas as you will cross the villages of Ait Ourir and Taddart via the Tizi-N'Tichka (the highest road summit of North Africa) to explore the kasbah Taourirt former residence of Glaoui back in the afternoon through the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou.
